Carrot Cake Fun

During a discussion about the Easter Bunny, one of our students said " I think he eats carrot cake".

 " Maybe we could make some too!"

So we hopped to it!

We gathered our ingredients.

 

We measured.

"I'm using my muscles."

We added ingredients and watched how it changed.

" How many cups of that do you need?"

"Why are eggs so slimy?"

We made prediction and conclusions about the ingredients we were adding.

"It smells so good."

We baked them and offered the children a big or little portions.

They disappeared before our very eyes.
